Your numbers stay in the browser
Visitor estimates, quantities, prices and calculated plans are processed locally. The calculator does not send these values to our server. Copying writes a plan to your clipboard; saving creates a text file on your device.
What we count
Our server records the time, fixed page category, response status, coarse referral category and a broad automated-client category. When you interact with the calculator, it can send a fixed action name such as calculate, copy or download, marked as an example or edited-input action. These records contain no input or output, full query string, full referring URL, IP address or visitor identifier. No analytics cookies or third-party analytics scripts are used.
Referrals are grouped as Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Perplexity, URNPC or other. A ChatGPT campaign parameter can also supply that label. Labels are approximate; they do not prove who visited or which AI answer cited this page. We do not link actions into individual browsing histories. Browser Do Not Track disables calculator action requests. Ordinary requests are still needed to deliver the page.
Retention and limitations
Coarse usage logs are rotated daily and kept for up to 42 days. Infrastructure may produce error logs needed to operate the service. Counts represent requests and actions, not unique people. Automated clients can misidentify themselves. A download action means the browser initiated a file download, not that the user kept the file.
Using the estimate
This is a free independent planning tool from URNPC. Inputs and the extra allowance are your assumptions, not a turnout forecast or a recommendation for a particular household. Bag counts round upward; costs are estimates in USD before tax. The tool does not assess food suitability, local event times or product availability. Review the result and packaging before buying.
